Masters Of the Mountain Round 3

Great Weather and Great racing!

We were also joined by Our Tuner Don Beck from Superbike Underground who was tuning our R1 Trackside. He had just mapped the bike on his Dyno and Flashed the ECU so the bike was on point this weekend. We Shared Garage space with Our Sponsored rider Tony Porter on His 2015 Yamaha R1 and Superbike Underground sponsored rider Sam Verderico on his 2015 Yamaha R1M ! This was an awesome opertunity to work together and collect data betwen all 3 bikes and by using our GPX pro 8 data aquisition we were able to overlay all of our data and evaluate our riding between all 3, whos breaking where who's getting on the gas where and what line we all take.. This played invaluble to me and i dropped 3 seconds from my previous best time!

The bike was running great and sounded like a world superbike! It was so easy to ride and the front wheel wanted to reach for the skies but the electronics kept it from getting to high.

In Open Superstock I had a great battle and was on my best pace ever round the east course, With Chad Swain taking the win on his ZX10R I fought with Sam Verderico on his R1M but was unable to put on a move to take second and held off an attack from Michael Bradshaw on his BMW S1000rr to take 3rd.. This was shaping up to be a fantastic weekend.

King of the mountain was a great race with some awesome battles through out the field.. Pianykh managed to get away cleanly and by the time i had worked my way through traffic i had started to catch the next group who where battling hard, Hicks, swain and Verderico , Hicks Hit Verderico going into turn 4 pushing him off the track and i was right there to take his position, i started closing down on Hicks on his MotoStation backed GSXR1000 as Swain was putting his head down but time was running out.. Hicks managed to hang on to 3rd but i secured 4th place holding off Stern and Verderico .

We came out of this weekend with great confidence in the machine still on stock suspension but with a perfect fuel map for this track..
